Several people have died in the huge London fire which engulfed a 24 storey building today. Many residents are missing. It is believed that there were at least 600 people were inside 120 flats in the 24-storey Grenfell Tower.
The fire started early morning.
Residents who escaped spoke of others who were still trapped and were screaming for help, some were seen jumping from the top floors.
Pictures show flames engulfing the block and a plume of smoke visible across the capital, while others showed residents looking out of windows in the block.
More than 200 firefighters were called to the block on the Lancaster West Estate, in north Kensington, at about 1.15 a.m.
