IIT counselling 2017 stayed by the Supreme Court over grace marks controversy
The Supreme Court of India has stayed the counselling for the Joint Entrance Exam counselling (JEE). The reason has been that there has been anomalies in the question papers. A petition had challenged the grace marks given for misprinted questions by the IITs.
SC has also asked for other petitions related to the IIT exams lying in the High Courts.
Further hearing related to this will be on 10th July, so for now, the IIT JEE counselling has been stayed by the IIT Board.
The plea says that the the IIT Madras should conduct the exams again and a fresh merit list should be prepared.[tweetthis]Tweet this[/tweetthis]
