What is ‘eye in the sky’ of ISRO

Indian Space Research Organisation or the ISRO is son goimng to launch a Cartosat-series satellite. This satellite is also known as ‘eye in the sky’. The reason for its name is because of its very powerful surveillance capabilities.

This satellite will be launched at the end of thsi month by ISRO.

This satellite will be launched by , PSLV-C38 rocket.

Eye in the sky satellite has a a state-of-the-art panchromatic (PAN) camera which can take black and white pictures of the earth in the visible region of the electromagnetic spectrum.
