CBSE NEET Result 2017 – Check your Rank and Score Card at

CBSE NEET 2017 Results:
NEET Results 2017 is going to be declared shortly. NEET is a national level test which conducts the examination for NEET and BDS. NEET results are used by various government and private colleges for selection into the MBBS and the BDS Courses across India.
CBSE NEET results will be annoinced online on official website of NEET as well as on some third party websiets sucg as Indiaresults.

NEET -Minimum Cut-off Marks
The Minimum cut off marks for NEET is as following:

50% (For General category)

40% (For reserved Category)

Answer keys were released for NEET on 15th June so you can check it on official website amnd can know whether you have scored qualifying marks or not.

Counselling for NEET qualifiers

Once the results are announced, then the counselling procedure will start. We will update you about the counselling dates there.

Here is how you can check the results:

First, go to the official website, a link has been given above

Second – You need to search for “NEET 2017 Result” and hit that button

Third – Please enter your registration number, your dob as well as your verification code.

Fourth – click on the Submit button

Fifth – Result will be displayed on the screen.

CBSE NEET 2017 Answer Keys available on official website

The answer key of the CBSE NEET exams are available on the official website. the answer keys are available from 15th of June. Students can go to the official website (link given above) and check the answer keys, it will give them good idea about the qualifying marks.



NEET 2017 Merit List

The merit list will be prepared as per the candidate’s performance in the NEET exam. The merit list for 15% All India Quota will be prepared by Central Board of Education (CBSE) board. Candidates will get admission in colleges or universities as per their position in the merit list. The rank list will be published through online mode.

NEET 2017 Merit List Tie-Breaking: WHAT IS THE CRITERIA

So what if two candidates score same marks:

Then students getting higher higher marks in Biology will be given preference.

Then students getting higher marks in Chemistry subject in NEET 2017 exam.

In case the above does not work then the student older in age will be given preference to break the tie.

What are the qualifying marks for 2017 NEET exam

for General – 360/720

For OBC, SC, ST – 288/720

for General UR PH – 324

OBC/SC?ST- PH – 288

NEET 2017 Counselling

Counselling of the students will take place after the results are out. The counselling process is regulated by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). In the counselling process, the candidates have to give preference for the college they choose.

Seats to the candidates will be allotted after filled preferences, secured rank and availability of seats in colleges.

15% quota in counselling is for Medical counselling Committee and rest 85 percent quota is for the state counselling committee.
